The event at the Whitby Youth Hostel on Feb 16th was sold out, and with well broken skies opening above Whitby during the afternoon things looked promising for the evening. And then....
The Dark Skies & Warm Fires event organised by our colleague Colin, proprietor of the Fox and Hounds at Ainthorpe, was again fully booked for the weekend Feb 9/10th. with people hoping to view the magnificence of the starry winter sky. For our previous visit to Fylingdales School back in March 2016, rain was of chief concern, but not enough to prevent a very enjoyable evening.
