Monthly meetings of WDAS are held at Caedmon College - Normanby Campus. Due to the prolonged Easter break at the College and other factors, there will be no meeting in April. The final meeting of the season will be Tuesday May 7th. [Read more about Society Monthly Meetings]

The event at the Whitby Youth Hostel on Feb 16th was sold out, and with well broken skies opening above Whitby during the afternoon things looked promising for the evening. And then....

The Dark Skies & Warm Fires event organised by our colleague Colin, proprietor of the Fox and Hounds at Ainthorpe, was again fully booked for the weekend Feb 9/10th. with people hoping to view the magnificence of the starry winter sky.
