WDAS monthly meetings have now started and run until May 2025. The venue is what will be renamed (again) Whitby School - Prospect Hill, a title that for local people from the 70s to the 2000s would associate with that site!  Start time will be 7:30pm. 

Meetings normally take place are on the 1st Tuesday each month from October to May (January aside - School break, so 2nd Tuesday) and April is dependent on the School Easter break.  The next meeting is December 3rd with the meeting in January on Tuesday 7th.

If you are new to the area and would like to join the society or have become interested in the night sky and want to take 'one small step', please do come along, you will be very welcome.

Bruce Observatory Open nights in December are on the 1st, 8th and 15th starting from 7pm.
