Due to the ongoing Covid lockdown restrictions there will be no society meeting in February and most likely March. The vaccination program should ensure matters will be moving in the right direction by April, however it may still be impractical for indoor meetings to be held with different age groups present. That said, observatory open nights may be viable by mid-March, but on a limited basis only. Realistically, it may transpire we are looking towards the autumn before we can meet on a formal basis indoors. We shall keep hoping for the best, keep you informed and make best use of the covid respite during the summer months, preferably with weather conditions conducive for star party events. By early autumn it should then be apparent how the likely scenario for late autum and winter will play out.
