Our run of star party successes came to an end in September, with all three events victim of cloud. Our annual visit to Hook's House Farm on Sept 3rd was our first casualty, cloud showing little inclination to dissipate after what had been a pretty cloudy week and so the event was cancelled during the day.

Cloud, cloud...and more cloud, all at the wrong times

The following Saturday's event (scheduled for the West Cliff) would have been little use as a back-up date for Hook's House, even if it had been viable, with conditions on the evening of the 10th actually worse than the previous week. On reflection though, people's thoughts may have been elsewhere. Likewise, Sept 17th, again turned cloudy in the afternoon and remained so, forcing another cancellation. All in all, very dissapointing - wrong cloud at wrong time, but that's the breaks sometimes. Let's hope better luck and better skies prevail for our October events.
