WDAS monthly meetings resume after the summer recess, beginning on the first Tuesday in October. After the summer break, there will be plenty to review, discuss and plan, including reports on August’s solar and lunar eclipses.

We meet at Whitby School, Prospect Hill Site, in Room H1 of the main block, from 7:30pm. Meetings usually take place on the first Tuesday of each month from October to May, though January and April dates may change because of school holidays.

If you are new to the area or have recently become interested in the night sky and would like to join the society, please get in touch — you will be very welcome.
