The North Yorkshire Moors Centre in Danby is one of three venues in the North York Moors National Parks - with Dark Sky Reserve status, awarded in December of 2020. The Centre hosts Dark Skies events during the autumn and spring half term weeks. If conditions prevent observing outdoors, plan B is usually involves scaled demonstrations and a presentation on the night sky inside the centre.
